Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Northport, Alabama. The 13-week engagement offers 40 hours per week with day shifts, and requires BLS and ASHA-SLP licensure, plus state certification. New grads may apply with appropriate credentials.

Responsibilities include evaluating and planning care for patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments in an acute care setting. Travel compensation and stipends apply as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience; 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
