Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Fayetteville, NC. The assignment runs 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts. Immediate start; BLS and ASHA-SLP certification with state licensing required. Travel experience preferred, with focus on acute care settings.

The SLP will assess and treat speech, voice, and swallowing disorders, develop care plans, and document progress per guidelines. New grads are welcome; 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing is required.
• BLS required and ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans for diverse patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to appropriate parties.
• Provide timely documentation following guidelines.
