Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Speech Language Pathologist for Red Bluff, CA. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, days shift, with a travel-friendly environment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional backgrounds), BLS, ASHA-SLP certification, and state licensure. You will assess and treat speech, voice, and swallowing disorders in diverse patient populations in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification and ASHA-SLP national certification with state licensure.
• Ability to work in acute care with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit individual needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to families, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
