Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Liberty, Missouri. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments in the acute care setting, and develop plans of care for diverse populations.

Requirements include ASHA SLP certification, BLS, and state licensure, with at least 6 months to 1 year of experience. The role offers 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, and a 13-week assignment with travel compensation.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months to 1 year of SLP experience.
• ASHA-SLP certification and state licensure required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage speech, language, or swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized treatment and therapy plans.
• Perform screenings for voice and speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress and status to care teams and families.
• Provide timely documentation per guidelines.
