Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Mound City, Missouri. The role requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour days and a travel-friendly schedule in an acute care setting.

We require 1 year of SLP experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, ASHA-SLP national certification, and state licensure. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit diverse patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress and current status to relevant parties.
• Provide documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
