Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role requires ASHA-SLP certification, BLS, and state licensure, with 1 year of experience preferred (6 months may be considered).

The position is 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, for 13 weeks, starting 11/02/2026. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, creating treatment plans, screenings, patient education, and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have ASHA-SLP National Certification and state-specific licensing.
• Minimum 6 months experience; exceptional candidates with relevant background may be considered with 6 months.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to appropriate parties and maintain documentation.
• Provide timely documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
