Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hanford, CA. The role offers 40 hours weekly, dayshift, and a chance to impact patient lives while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements include CA licensure and current BLS; a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP are preferred. Travel experience earns competitive pay with strong clinical support.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in CA per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology preferred; CCC-SLP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Document progress accurately in the EMR and coordinate with care teams.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, exercises, and safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
