Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy seeks a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment at a Luverne, Alabama facility. Start date 10/05/2026; 32 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, travel position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and maintaining detailed EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in medical/clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across age groups.
• Design individualized therapy programs based on evaluations.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure patient safety protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
