Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Luverne, AL. The role requires an active SLP license, BLS, and the ability to work 32 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.

The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with a clinical team while ensuring documentation accuracy and patient education.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or higher.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and progress notes.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises.
• Coordinate care to support best patient outcomes.
