Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Mitchell, South Dakota. The role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
• Certification as CCC-SLP (ASHA) preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards
