Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Sioux City, IA. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, developing individualized plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Active SLP license per state regulations.
Current BLS certification at time of hire.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
CCC-SLP certification preferred; travel experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patients.
Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans with accurate EMR documentation.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and home exercises.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
Maintain a safe environment adhering to infection control standards.
Engage in ongoing professional development and quality initiatives.
