Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Fremont, California. The role involves 40 hours per week, dayshift, and travel employment through a Joint Commission-certified agency.

The SLP will assess patients, provide skilled therapy, and set goals for communication and swallowing, requiring a Master's in SLP, CCCs, and current licensure. Travel housing and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an SLP or in process of licensure.
• At least one year of professional working experience.
• Must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have CCC's.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy.
• Set realistic goals for patients to develop/recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.
