Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 14-week travel assignment in Centralia, IL. This role emphasizes evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders with evidence-based therapy plans, in a team-based setting.

The position requires a valid SLP license and current BLS certification; Master’s degree and CCC-SLP are preferred. You’ll work 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, and enjoy comprehensive benefits and travel support.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC-SLP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Document progress in the EMR and maintain accurate records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care teams for comprehensive care.
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and patient comfort during therapy.
• Engage in professional development and quality assurance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
