Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Pekin, IL. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, working within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires active SLP licensure, BLS certification, and may require CCC-SLP. Travel tempo, 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, ASAP start, with competitive benefits and team support.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or higher; CCC-SLP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Maintain detailed documentation in the EMR and ensure compliance with standards.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
