Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Red Bud, IL. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and competitive travel benefits. Licensure in the state, BLS, and CCC-SLP are preferred qualifications.

The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with clinicians, and document progress in EMR while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid State License for Speech-Language Pathology
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred: Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Preferred: CCC-SLP certification
• New grads welcome to apply with relevant credentials

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across ages
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Document progress and maintain EMR records
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Maintain safe, infection-controlled therapy environments
• Engage in professional development and quality improvement activities
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
