Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 12-week assignment in Springfield, Missouri. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, delivering personalized therapy in collaboration with a clinical team.

Required: valid SLP license and BLS; preferred CCC-SLP, master's degree, and DCC; travel-friendly position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Start date 10/05/2026.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
• Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
• SLP experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply
• Additional certifications or licenses may be required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation in the EMR and track patient progress.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and safe swallowing practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope
