Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for an immediate travel assignment in Columbus, GA. This role requires ASHA-SLP certification, BLS, and Georgia state licensing, with a 13-week duration and 34 hours per week.

The SLP will evaluate and develop care plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting. Ideal candidates have 6 months of experience (6 months accepted for exceptional backgrounds) and can stand long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• ASHA-SLP national certification with state licensing is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Provide documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
