Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Augusta, Georgia. The role is a 13-week assignment with a 40-hour workweek, days shift, in an acute care setting.

Must have ASHA-SLP certification and BLS, with state licensure; 1 year experience preferred, 6 months for exceptional candidates. The SLP will assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, develop individualized care plans, and document progress per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to appropriate parties (family, teachers, medical professionals).
• Provide timely documentation following state/insurance guidelines.
