Job summary

AAA Oregon/Idaho is seeking a Travel Services Support Desk teammate to join our Travel Administration team at our downtown Portland headquarters. The role provides technical, operational, and system support to enable travel agents to serve members effectively.

You will be the primary resource for travel-related technology, reservations systems, and processes, collaborating with colleagues and leaders to promote service excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in travel industry, reservation operations, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of a GDS and travel reservation platforms; Sabre experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting system, access, configuration, or workflow issues.
• Strong organizational, communication, documentation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical and operational information to varied audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with accurate records and follow-through.
• Professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion with confidential information.
• Ability to collaborate with employees, leaders, internal departments, and external partners.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new systems and processes.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually

AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a Travel Services Support Desk teammate to join our Travel Administration team at our administrative headquarters in downtown Portland!

The Travel Services Support Desk helps support AAA Oregon/Idaho Travel Services by providing technical, operational, and system support that enables travel agents to efficiently serve members and achieve business objectives. They serve as the primary resource for travel-related technology, reservations systems, and operational procedures while promoting service excellence, process consistency, and continuous improvement.

*Please note: This position is based out of our Downtown Portland Administrative Headquarters. We cannot accommodate out of state employment at this time and we do not provide relocation assistance.

Desired Skills

• Two or more years of travel industry, reservation operations, travel technology, systems support, or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of a GDS and travel reservation platforms; Sabre experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting system, access, configuration, transaction, or workflow issues.
• Strong organizational, communication, documentation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate issues, determine appropriate resolutions, and respond effectively.
• Ability to communicate technical and operational information to employees with varying levels of system knowledge.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and ensure consistent follow-through.
• Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential information.
