Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex projects, supervise PMs, and guide project teams. You will manage costs, schedule, and client relations, ensuring contract compliance and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include preparing budgets, negotiating subcontracts, and coordinating PMP development with the project superintendent and team to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field required.
• Minimum of eight years' project management experience on Mission Critical construction projects.
• Strong ability to manage complex projects and lead teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication; adept at negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and provide guidance on project management techniques.
• Directly responsible for projected costs, profits, and timing for assigned projects.
• Prepare estimates and negotiate prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Develop the Project Management Plan (PMP) and coordinate close-out activities.
