Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a Lake Charles, Louisiana assignment. The role focuses on delivering school-based speech therapy to students, with collaboration among teachers and families to support academic and social development.

Responsibilities include assessments, IEP development, direct therapy, progress monitoring, and staff training. CF SLP accepted; licensure and ASHA CCC are required to start the contract position.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• CCC from ASHA required to start.
• State license is required to start the assignment.
• CF SLP accepted; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech needs.
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Train teachers and staff on strategies to integrate therapy goals.
