Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a School contract position. The SLP will work with students, teachers, and families to provide comprehensive speech and language services supporting academic and social development.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, delivering direct therapy in individual and group settings, monitoring progress, and training staff on therapy strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and state licensure.
• CF SLP accepted; new grads welcome
• Experience in school setting preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement IEPs with goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective speech therapy strategies.
