Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied in Alexandria, LA is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for school-based services. The SLP will assess students, develop IEP goals with educators and families, and deliver direct therapy in individual and small-group settings.

This 40-week contract offers 40 hours/week, with an 8-hour day, and housing options through Allied Travel. Applicants should hold a Master’s in SLP and state licensure; CCC from ASHA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• State SLP license in the state of residence.
• CCC from ASHA preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
