AMN Healthcare Allied in Lawrence, KS is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist to join a school district for a 41-week contract. The role centers on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students.

You will conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy in individual and group settings while collaborating with teachers and families. CCC from ASHA preferred; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CCC from ASHA required.
• Experience in school settings, early childhood, or pediatrics.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and community members.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students.
• Provide direct therapy in individual and small group settings.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans.
• Train teachers and staff on effective speech therapy strategies.
• Maintain confidential student records per regulations.
