Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a travel contract in Carlsbad, NM. The SLP will assess and treat students, develop IEPs, and work with teachers to integrate services.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field
• CCC certification from ASHA required or in process per state rules
• Hold valid state licensure to start the assignment and maintain it throughout the contract

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of students to identify speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with communication needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and small group settings
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech therapy goals into classroom activities
