Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied seeks a School Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Spanaway, Washington. The SLP will collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the school year.

Responsibilities include assessments, IEP development, direct therapy in individual and group settings, and progress documentation. Training staff on effective strategies is also expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in SLP or related field.
• State license to practice required to start.
• CCC from ASHA preferred for school setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students individually and in groups.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Train teachers and staff on strategies to integrate speech therapy goals in class.
