Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based role in Leonardtown, Maryland. The SLP will assess students, develop IEPs, and deliver direct therapy across multiple settings.

Responsibilities include evaluating students, creating goals, monitoring progress, and supporting teachers with classroom strategies. This contract supports 40 weeks with 7-hour shifts and weekly pay in the mid $2k range.

Qualifications

• Speech/Language Pathologist, School Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
• State SLP License in State of Residence
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
• Develop and implement IEPs with goals for students with speech and language needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on integrating speech therapy goals in classrooms
