AMN Healthcare Allied seeks a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a School CF position in Leonardtown, Maryland. The role focuses on evaluating and treating students, creating IEPs, and delivering direct therapy in classroom and small-group settings.

The SLP CF will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students’ communication needs and academic progress during a 40-week assignment starting ASAP. 7-hour days and 40-hour weeks are typical for this travel role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• State SLP license in state of residence preferred.
• Experience in school, early childhood, or pediatrics.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams of educators, parents, and community members.
• Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
• Develop and implement IEPs with goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on integration of speech goals in the classroom.
