Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking Travel Consultant Trainees to develop travel sales expertise through structured training in travel planning, CRM, and business development. You'll build lasting client relationships and a personal book of business while delivering memorable travel experiences.

This developmental role leads to a Travel Consultant position based on performance, sales achievement, and completion of training requirements, with opportunities for career growth within AAA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pass applicable pre-employment screenings, including background requirements.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and multiple web-based systems.
• Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a customer-focused mindset and strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell travel products and services including: cruises, guided tours, vacation packages, hotels, airfare, car rentals, travel insurance.
• Create customized itineraries tailored to client preferences and budget.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
• Build a personal portfolio through referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Manage prospects through the full sales cycle, from initial consultation through booking and post-travel follow-up.
• Recommend AAA products and services to enhance the travel experience.
• Stay informed on travel destinations, industry trends, supplier offerings, and promotions.
• Meet or exceed sales, service, and productivity goals.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
