Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Travel RN for a 13-week Stepdown/IMU assignment in Bridgeport, WV. The role requires 2+ years of stepdown experience with telemetry and drip titration, and uses EPIC EMR.

You will work nights, 36 hours per week on an 18-bed unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio and no call. WV or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS required; EPIC EMR experience preferred; EKG testing required.

Qualifications

• Active WV or Compact RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Stepdown-level clinical experience required.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• EKG competency testing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to stepdown-level patients including drip titration and telemetry monitoring.
• Charge nurse and house supervisor roles are available, with charge nurses typically not carrying a patient assignment.
• Titrate drips such as Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene.
• Read and interpret own telemetry strips.
• Participate in unit-based orientation and ensure patient safety.
