Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Surgical Stepdown position in Florida. The role requires floating to multiple campuses, including Lake Placid and Wauchula, with a 12-hour day shift and every other weekend rotation.

Active Florida or Compact RN license is required, and vaccination with COVID-19 or approved declination is mandatory. First-time travelers are welcome to apply, and local candidates are accepted at traveler rates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Float to PCU/Surgical Stepdown units across hospital campuses.
• Get floated to other campuses in Lake Placid and Wauchula.
• Float within the hospital to ED holding/ETC and other PCU areas.
• Provide care for PCU/surgical stepdown patients across multiple units and campuses.

Responsibilities

• PCU/Surgical Stepdown unit within a hospital setting
• Floats to other campuses in Lake Placid and Wauchula, and rarely other locations
• Floats within the hospital to other units housing PCU patients, such as ED holding/ETC
• 12-hour day shift schedule
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Care for PCU/surgical stepdown patients across multiple units and campuses
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• No radius rule applies to this position
• Permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
