Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Telemetry Stepdown (PCU/IMCU) RN with Cerner EMR experience and an active AZ or compact RN license to join our hospital team. The role requires BLS and a 30-minute Prevention First training, with flexible escalation for travel housing support.

The nurse will work in IMCU/PCU Stepdown, 36 hours weekly on 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30). Candidates must reside within 50 miles and meet standard onboarding checks.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Prevention First certification required (30-minute on-demand training).
• Cerner EMR experience required and must be listed in employment history.
• Must meet required experience level for IMCU/PCU Stepdown position.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Date of birth required for consideration.
• Social Security number required for consideration (full SSN preferred, last 4 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Work in the IMCU (PCU Stepdown) unit of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30.
• 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly).
• Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not offered.
• Provide stepdown-level nursing care in a PCU/IMCU overflow unit.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• RTO requests should be kept to less than 7 days.
• Returning permanent employees must obtain approval prior to consideration.
