Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down Night Shift travel assignment in Birmingham, AL. This position requires an active AL or Compact RN license and at least 2 years of Step Down nursing experience.

Applicants must have a US SSN, an active driver''s license, and no large employment gaps in the past year; certifications must not expire soon. This travel role includes housing allowances and per diem benefits.

Qualifications

• Certifications must not expire within 30 days of start
• US SSN required for consideration
• Canadian SIN not accepted
• Active driver's license required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in the Step Down unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible as a traveler
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position
