American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Stepdown/PCU in Washington, DC. The unit is 48 beds with a mix of pulmonary and cardiac surgery patients; the role requires 2+ years of cardiac telemetry and a DC RN license.

The position uses Cerner EMR and offers a night shift with 3x12-hour shifts; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Qualifications

• Active DC RN license; no pending licenses.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience and 2 years cardiac telemetry.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BSN highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 48-bed cardiac-focused stepdown unit.
• Unit includes 4 pulmonary care beds and 10 cardiac surgery beds (cardiac surgery patients not required).
• Manage frequent IV drips including Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, Bumex.
• Care for CHF, NSTEMI, arrhythmias, and vascular surgery patients.
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
