American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN with telemetry experience for a 13-week assignment at a Plano, TX hospital. Active TX license and current BLS/NIHSS certifications are required, with no expiring certificates within 30 days.

The role includes MedSurg/PCU transitioning to Neuro PCU, a 7A-7P schedule, and travel benefits such as housing allowance and licensure reimbursements. Open positions: 1.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/telemetry experience required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted).
• One professional reference required.

Responsibilities

• MedSurg/PCU unit transitioning to a Neuro PCU effective 11/1/26.
• 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift schedule.
• Provide progressive care nursing in preparation for unit's transition to Neuro PCU.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role.
