Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a PCU/MedSurg Float RN for night shifts in Pennsylvania. Candidates must hold an active PA or Compact RN license, with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. The role includes float duties across PCU and MedSurg and a 3x12 hour night schedule.

Unit ratios are 5:1 in PCU and 7:1 in MedSurg with 25 beds per floor. Night shifts run 19:00–07:00, with no block scheduling or on-call requirements, and holidays are rotated.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (PA or Compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience as RN on PCU/MedSurg preferred

Responsibilities

• Float between PCU and MedSurg units.
• Maintain patient care with unit ratios (PCU 5:1, MedSurg 7:1).
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).
• No block scheduling or call requirements.
• Rotate holiday coverage and weekends.
