Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel contract in Austin, TX. The role requires 1 year of recent PCU/telemetry experience and NIH Stroke Certification, with an outside-50-mile residency rule for eligibility.

Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a 13-week assignment. Comprehensive benefits include insurance, 401(k), housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and per diem where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within 30 days of start).
• NIH Stroke Certification required.
• 1 year of recent PCU/telemetry experience required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted).
• Professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri).
