Job summary
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit position in North Carolina. The role requires NC or compact RN licensure and prior PCU experience. You will work nights, 4x12hrs, with a 13-week assignment and on-call and holiday coverage as needed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver competent clinical nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting utilizing the nursing process.
- Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required for patient care plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and support discharge planning.
- Assess patient and family learning needs and provide relevant patient education.
- Growth opportunities available including PCCN certification, clinical ladder, and BSN/MSN support.

- Adult cardiac and med-surg patient mix including CAD, CHF, and NSTEMI cases
- Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with 3-4 admissions per day
- Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:00am
- 4 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule
- On-call requirement of 1 shift per pay period
- Holiday coverage required as needed
