Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN for a 13-week, night-shift travel assignment in Oregon. The role requires Level II Trauma experience and Epic proficiency, with a patient ratio of 1:3 and a 3x12 schedule from 19:00 to 7:30.

Two professional references, a complete 7-year work history, and education details for all degrees are required. Open to first-time travelers with orientation prerequisites, housing and travel reimbursements provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required.
• Level II Trauma experience required.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Two professional references from positions held within the past year, with at least one from a manager.
• Complete 7-year work history required with no employment gaps greater than 30 days.
• Education details required for all degrees earned, including area of study, degree type, and institution location.

Responsibilities

• PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown work setting within a Level II Trauma facility.
• 13-week assignment on night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30).
• Every other weekend required.
• Patient ratio of 1:3.
• Floating required within scope to Med/Tele, PCU, and ED Boarding as needed.
• Wide range of PCU-level clinical care including cardiac monitoring, neurological, respiratory, renal, and post-surgical care.
• Provide skilled nursing care across a broad range of PCU specialties including cardiac, neuro, respiratory, renal, and post-surgical patients.
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler, with proof of permanent address required.
• Maximum of 7 total days of RTO allowed within the 13-week assignment.
• First-time travelers are welcome to applyFacility-required orientation modules must be completed and are renewed annually
