American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Travel Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit assignment in North Carolina, requiring ACLS and NIHSS certification with charge and precepting duties.

Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday, no on-call. Weekly pay details and stipends apply; benefits include health coverage and 401k.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact).
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
• Nursing Diploma/ADN/ASN required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• Charge and precepting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a neuro-focused unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families tailored to learning needs.
• Participate in discharge planning and identify high-risk patients.
• Engage in unit performance improvement and professional development.
