Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel RN in Telemetry for an acute care hospital in Belleville, Illinois. The role features a night shift (12 hours) with 48 hours per week, traveling across campus units and prioritizing high‑risk cardiac telemetry care, including post‑operative open heart support and tracheostomy management.

Required certifications ACLS and BLS, along with IL or MO license (or compact/hand at submission), and a minimum of 2 years telemetry experience plus 1 year of acute care

Qualifications

ACLS certification required.
BLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years of high-risk telemetry experience.
Valid MO or IL license or compact license, or eligible for licensure at time of submission.
Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Manage cardiac telemetry patients and high-risk cardiac drips.
Perform sheath removal and post-op open heart care tasks.
Provide tracheostomy care and central line care.
Float across in-patient units as needed.
Maintain night-shift patient care with heavy acuity.
