Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a Travel Nurse RN in Telemetry for Peoria, IL. This RN will support cardiovascular patients, interpret EKGs, titrate medications, and monitor critical care equipment on a 12-hour night shift.

The role requires an active Illinois RN license (or pending), BLS, 2+ years in a clinical setting, and willingness to float to other units as needed. Travel pay includes housing options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and active Illinois license or pending license application.
• BLS required; ACLS recommended.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with EKG interpretation and med titration.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs and titrate cardiac medications.
• Monitor telemetry and cardiac monitors in acute care.
• Troubleshoot ventilator equipment (CPAP/BiPAP) and assist with chest procedures as needed.
• Float to other general medical units and collaborate with nursing leadership.
