Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) nursing opportunity in an acute care hospital setting. This position involves providing high-risk cardiac telemetry care on night shifts with a focus on post‑op open heart, sheath pulls, and tracheostomy management. The role requires flexibility to float within in‑patient units across multiple campuses, and it offers a consistent night schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Acute Care Hospital
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Nights, 48 hours per week minimum
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/18/2027
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS, 2 years of high‑risk telemetry experience, valid license in MO or IL (or eligible for compact or in hand at time of submittal), minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience, experience with cardiac drip management, sheath pulls, and central line care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of dysrhythmias, Procedural Sedation administration/monitoring, wound care, and managing patients with complex cardiac conditions.
• Responsibilities: Managing cardiac telemetry patients, operating high‑risk cardiac drips without titration, sheath removal, post‑op open heart care, tracheostomy care, and central line management.
• Patient Ratios: Night shifts typically involve a patient ratio aligned with high‑risk cardiac units, approximately 1:5-6.
• Additional Information: Open to accommodating block schedules but no local candidates within a 75‑mile radius. Float within facility is required, and all required certifications and compliance deadlines must be met prior to start.
