Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Belleville, Illinois. This assignment runs 13 weeks, nights, with 36 hours per week in a 12‑hour shift.

You will monitor adult telemetry patients, manage cardiac drips, and assist with bedside procedures such as line insertions and thoracentesis. Required ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and IL license; MO license acceptable if matching residence; travelers only within 75 miles.

Qualifications

• 1 year of telemetry experience with adult patients.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor adult telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Manage cardiac drips and titration where applicable.
• Assist with bedside procedures (line insertion, thoracentesis).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to provide high-quality bedside care.
