Job Summary:
Telemetry Nursing in an acute care hospital located in the region. The position involves providing specialized bedside care for adult telemetry patients, managing cardiac drips, assisting with bedside procedures such as line insertion and thoracentesis, and monitoring patients with diagnoses including CHF, dialysis pre/post care, pre/post cardiac cath, COPD, sepsis, and hospice care. The assignment is scheduled for nights, with a focus on flexible and attentive patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). One year of recent telemetry experience working with adult patients, familiarity with interpreting dysrhythmias, and management of cardiac drips (no titration required).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing adult telemetry patients in a similar hospital setting; ability to assist bedside procedures such as line insertion and thoracentesis.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to Memorial Belleville and Memorial East (Shiloh) as needed.
• Additional Information: This assignment involves managing adult telemetry patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and providing high-quality bedside care. The contract duration runs from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027.
• Credentialing & Compliance: All required certifications must be current and submitted prior to start. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing the contract, and modules via WorkRamp should be completed within one week of contract signing and two Fridays prior to the start date.
• License Information: IL license in hand required at the time of submittal; MO license acceptable if matching permanent residence or applicable compact.
• Radius/Local Rules: No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius; travelers only.
• Contract Details: Confirmed night shift, duration includes the specified start and end dates.
