Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit with recent ICU/critical care background. The role requires GA or Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and a minimum of one year in Critical Care/ICU. Travel experience is preferred and references plus licensing documents are required.

Shift is 7:00–19:00 on a 3x12 schedule, with a 13-week assignment and potential extension. Candidates should be able to cover some weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proficient with IV starts, labs, and titrating drips
• Two professional references required
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required

Responsibilities

• Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• 13-week assignment with possible extension
• Some weekend shifts

• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum one year of recent Critical Care and ICU experience required
• Proficient with IV starts, lab draws/sample collecting, and titrating critical drips
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Stepdown setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• 13-week assignment with possible extension
• Some weekend shifts required
• Holiday coverage required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required and not provided by facility
• Minimal to no time off permitted during assignment
• Candidates must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible for full travel pay rate
