Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position with a night shift, requiring critical care and telemetry expertise. The role includes hospital IMC duties, use of Epic for charting, and travel assignments with strict distance requirements.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license (OK/Compact), BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and at least 2 years in critical care/telemetry. Housing and travel reimbursements are provided in this travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (OK or Compact) required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of current critical care and telemetry experience.
• DL or state ID and utility bill with matching name/address in last 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit of a hospital.
• Night shift 19:00–07:00, 3x12 hours.
• Floating to sister facilities within scope of practice.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Provide nursing care to IMC/telemetry patients.
• RTO maximum 5 days per assignment; no holidays or blackout dates.
• Permanent address must be >75 miles from the facility for travel eligibility.
• Former permanent staff must be separated ≥1 year to be eligible.

• Minimum 2 years of current critical care and telemetry experience required
• Current DL or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the traveler's name with matching address within the last three months required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00)
• Floating required to sister facilities within scope of practice
• Uses Epic for charting
• No block scheduling accommodations available
• Provide nursing care to intermediate care/telemetry patients
• Maximum RTO of 5 days per assignment, with no holidays or blackout dates permitted
• Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible for travel assignments
