American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/ED Hold role in Chandler, AZ. The assignment features 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and a travel RN contract in a Level 1 trauma center with telemetry-focused care.

Requirements include a current AZ or Compact RN license, 2 years of cardiac telemetry experience, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, and successful dysrhythmia testing. Cerner EMR experience is preferred, with floating to related units as needed.

Formación

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry nursing experience within the past 6 months.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA or APEX are required.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam via Relias (maximum 2 attempts within 48 hours of offer).
• Read/interpret telemetry strips; no monitor technicians present.

Responsabilidades

• Work in the ED Holds/Telemetry unit within an acute care Level 1 trauma center.
• Manage telemetry with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone.
• Rotate through med/surg, telemetry, and EDs as needed.
• Will care for ED patients awaiting admission and assist with vitals, IV starts, and meds.
