Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Travel RN for Med/Surg Tele on nights in Chandler, AZ. The role requires cardiac monitoring and EKG competency, with a 36-hour week across 13 weeks and a 4-week self-scheduling block footprint. The assignment includes weekend rotation and holiday coverage.

The facility is Level 1 trauma capable; you will manage titratable drips, interpret strips, and collaborate with RTs and charge nurses while charting in Cerner.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or Compact RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
• Must pass an EKG competency exam.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer.
• Must pass sterile technique exam on day 1 of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a busy telemetry unit.
• Interpret cardiac strips and identify rhythm changes.
• Administer therapies and manage patient safety.
• Collaborate with RTs and unit staff 24/7.
• Document in Cerner and maintain chart accuracy.
