American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN Telemetry in Chandler, AZ to join the Neuro Telemetry unit on a 13-week assignment with a 36-hour workweek. The role requires ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and recent acute care experience, with 12-hour night shifts and a 50-mile radius requirement for AZ residents.

The position offers travel benefits, licensure reimbursements, and exposure to a 28-bed neuro telemetry unit, using Cerner EMR with no on-call duties.

Formación

• Active RN license (State or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Ability to interpret EKGs and telemetry strips
• Must pass Relias Dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
• Must pass sterile technique assessment on orientation day 1
• Travel/licensure reimbursements and benefits included

Responsabilidades

• Monitor neuro telemetry unit in acute care (neuro post-surgical, post-craniotomy, spine, stroke)
• 28-bed unit with 1:3–4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Centralized telemetry with EKG interpretation
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts every other weekend
• Float as needed; travelers float first
• No ventilator or ICP monitoring; CERner EMR used
• No on-call requirements; hospitalist day/night coverage
• Provide care for post-surgical neuro, spine and stroke patients
